Tzigane Libson

Lead Stylist & Owner

Tzigane is the Lead Stylist, mentor, and owner of Layla: A Social Salon. Originally from Zimbabwe, she moved to Las Vegas at the age of 14 and has since established herself as a leading figure in the local beauty industry. After initially pursuing a degree in communications at CSN, Tzigane discovered her passion for hair while working at the front desk of a prestigious salon, which led her to attend and graduate from the Euphoria Institute of Beauty Arts and Sciences in 2007.

Tzigane’s career took off in 2011 when she opened her own studio, which soon flourished into a thriving team environment by 2015. Driven by her vision to offer more for both her clients and staff, she expanded her studio into a full-size salon, launching Layla in March 2017.

With over 20 years of color experience and a deep passion for blonding, Tzigane has always prioritized advanced education. She is a certified specialist in Amplify, Bellami, and Hot Heads tape-in extensions and has extensive expertise in cutting, coloring, and Brazilian Blow Out smoothing systems. Previously a Paul Mitchell National Educator for over a decade, Tzigane now serves as a Regional Educator for R+Co and R+Co Bleu.

Throughout her career, Tzigane has been recognized for her contributions to the beauty industry, including being featured in numerous publications and receiving multiple accolades, such as the Affluence of Talent award from Deluxe Version magazine, nominations for the Top 100 Women in Las Vegas, and winning Best Salon of 2021 from Las Vegas Weekly. Her dedication to her craft and her team continues to drive the success of Layla: A Social Salon.

Jasmine Davis

STYLIST

Growing up in San Diego, Jasmine harbored a love for creating beachy, lived-in styles and has always been inspired by nature’s raw, organic beauty. Jasmine has been bringing a luxurious, modern guest experience to her clients since 2016, after graduating from the Aveda Institute. Her goal is for every client to leave feeling confident with hair that can style itself. She’s always had an eye for color and specializes in highlights, “rooty” blondes, and dimensional brunettes. Jasmine’s also an expert in extensions, special event styling, and giving her guests a look they can show off with confidence. Whether you’re looking to chat with her about great local restaurants, or her two kitties, you can always relax in her chair knowing you’re in incredibly skilled hands. Marina Lugo

STYLIST

Meet Marina, a Stylist at Layla: A Social Salon, who started her hair journey at Paul Mitchell the school Las Vegas, where she honored and cutting, color, and texture. Marina’s handwork in school landed her on the Dean’s list in 2018 when she graduated. Shortly after graduation, she joined the Layla team in 2018.

Sydney Grolman

STYLIST

Syd is known for her expertise in cutting-edge styles, specializing in bold, statement-making cuts like mullets and shags, as well as her deep understanding of curly hair. With a flair for creative color, particularly bright and vivid tones, she crafts unique looks that reflect her clients' personalities. 

Syd is the go-to stylist for many local band members, making her the perfect choice if you’re looking to infuse a little punk rock edge into your style.

In addition to her mastery of creative cuts and color, Syd is also highly skilled in men’s grooming, bringing precision and care to every cut. Syd is also one of our only two stylists who specialize in beards and mens brows.

Outside of the salon, she enjoys spending time outdoors with her partner and their dog, Zuko, as well as cooking and staying active at the gym.

Rischala Griffin

STYLIST

Meet Rischala, a stylist at Layla: A Social Salon, whose passion for hair began at a young age while observing her aunt work her magic in the salon. After relocating to Las Vegas, Rischala took the opportunity to pursue her dream and enrolled at Aveda Institute. It was there that she discovered her love for blonding and haircutting. From highlighting to fashion tones to the latest trending haircuts, it's her passion to help every client love their hair.

When not in the salon, Rischala can be found cuddled up with her beloved house hippo while studying new hair techniques to stay at the forefront of industry trends.

Melissa Sayegh

Salon Director

Meet Melissa, Salon Director at Layla: A Social Salon. Born and raised in Southern California, Melissa's journey led her to Las Vegas in 2009 to pursue her passion for cooking at Le Cordon Bleu. With a background of 14 years in the restaurant and hospitality industry, she sought a new direction. Having been a loyal client at Tzigane and the Layla team for 10 years, Melissa was drawn to the exceptional customer service. When the opportunity arose to join the team in guest relations, she eagerly accepted. As time passed, Melissa developed strong connections with clients, immersed herself in the vibrant team culture, and swiftly rose to the role of Salon Director.

Beyond her role at the salon, Melissa cherishes moments with her husband and their beloved dogs. A dedicated Disney enthusiast, she indulges in baking, exploring new destinations, and making the most of life's adventures.
